What size blanket do I need?

This depends on what the blanket will be used for; for swaddling the blanket should be large enough to wrap around baby a couple times. If you are using the blanket or quilt for baby to rest on the floor, it doesn't need to be as large.

How do I swaddle my baby?

First, fold down one corner of blanket and lay baby so his head is resting above the fold. Next, take an out corner and bring over baby's body thus trapping baby's arm. Then, take the opposite corner and fold over baby's other arm tucking under baby for a snug fit. Finally, take the end near baby's feet and tuck in the back of baby. You're done!
