Childbirth Information
A Birth Plan is a list of your ideals and preferences for your birth experience. It's a great way to let your healthcare providers know what you're hoping for during labor and delivery, and will also illustrate your interest in taking an active role in the process. Print out copies for your doctor to add to your medical records, send one to the hospital or birth center, give one to your coach and bring another copy with you on D-day.
Compare notes with other parents-to-be and parents, read stories that are similar to, or very different than, yours, share your own story and connect with others.
Childbirth International is a unique organization. With a global outlook and a strong belief in the "education is power" philosophy, we provide training for doula and childbirth educator students all over the world. We aim to establish an international standard for Childbirth Education programs and doula training.
